Leopards Upended By Vikings 13-1

The Louisville Lady Leopards fell to the Defending State Champion North Canton Hoover Vikings 13-1 in 5 Innings Friday. With the loss, Louisville is now 10-5 on the season.
Katie Cozy’s solo home run in the fourth inning was the only Leopard run of the night. For Cozy it 
was her second homer of the season and the team’s 17th overall. Amy Hoover and Keri Hupp had the only other hits for Louisville.
Hoover scored 4 runs in the first and 8 runs in the second on their way to victory. The Vikings have now won the last four meetings in the series and lead the all-time series 36-4 overall.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Perry to take on the Panthers on Monday, May 5 at 5:00 PM.
