Leopards Homer Team Record 4 Times in Win Over South
Louisville 12, Canton South 2, 6 Innings
Louisville set a team record as they homered 4 times in their victory over visiting Canton South Tuesday. With the victory, the Lady Leopards improved to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
Grace Jackson led Louisville by going 3 for 4, hitting a pair of home runs, and driving in 3 runs. Emily Cantley also went 3 for 3 with 3 RBI’s and provided the game-ending 2-run single in the sixth inning.
The Leopards exploded for a 5-run second inning, a 4-run fifth inning, and a walk-off 3-run sixth 
inning to earn the mercy. Keri Hupp went 2 for 3, hit her first career home run, and batted in 3 runs. Lexi Givens also blasted her first career homer. Amy Hoover and Annie Woolf also added 2 hits each.
In the Circle, Kirsten Wharmby pitched a complete game and picked up her first career win. She also struck out 3, gave up just 4 hits, and allowed only 1 earned run.
With the victory, Louisville has now won 40 consecutive NBC games and this is the Lady Leopards 40th win all-time against the Lady Wildcats (40-20). Louisville has taken the last 10 meetings in the series overall.
