Freshman Finish Regular Season 15-3, Stay Perfect in NBC

Kyle Ashcraft led the Leopards with 11 points, but it would not be enough as Louisville fell to Canton Central Catholic 35-26 Thursday evening.
The Leopards shot just 27% (9 of 33) from the floor and only managed a single three-pointer.
The Crusaders led after every quarter including 9-7 after one, 20-19 at the half, and 27-24 after the third quarter.
Louisville tied the game at 23-23 with 4:18 left in the third quarter, but went ice cold after that. The Leps failed to score from the floor during the remaining 11:18 of the contest. Central took the game over and out in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Leopards 8-2.
Matt Eddins also scored 5 and Jarett Heater added 3 for the Leopard Freshman.
With the loss, Louisville finishes the regular season at 15-3 overall, 8-1 at home, and 1-3 against non-conference opponents. They will look to rebound when they take their game to West Branch for the Freshman Tournament starting next week.

Louisville 67, Alliance 27
Louisville ran past host Alliance 67-27 back on January 28 to complete a 14-0 perfect run through the NBC.
Conner Bast made 4 of the Leopards 8 three-pointers in the contest and led all scorers with 18 points. Daichi Castles also scored all 10 of his points in the fourth quarter to lead Louisville.
The Leps built a 20-8 lead after the first, inflated their lead to 36-16 at the break, and out-scored the Aviators 16-4 in the third period. With a 52-20 lead, the Class of 2016 cruised in the fourth quarter to improve their record against NBC opponents to 48-0 since the 7th Grade.
Jarett Heater also added 9, while Kyle Ashcraft and Alec Jones each dropped in 7 for Louisville. Nick Harsh also buried 2 three-pointers for the Leps in the contest.

Louisville 42, Salem 27
Matt Eddins drilled 2 three-pointers and scored a game-high 13 points to lead the visiting Leopards past the Quakers 42-27 back on January 24.
Louisville outscored Salem in each of the first three quarters to build a 38-19 advantage. Salem doubled up the Leopards in the final period, but Louisville still comfortably embraced victory.
Brock Haren also scored 9 and Anthony Vernier added 7 during the victory.
