Louisville 4, GlenOak 1

The Lady Leopards tennis team got off to a hot start to the season Wednesday evening at Louisville High School.  The Lady Leps downed GlenOak 4-1 to win their 9th straight dual meet and 24th in 25 matches.

Picking up double bagel victories were Gretchen Groves in #1 Singles, Sam Pukys in #3 Singles, and Hannah Lemmon & Ciara Antonacci in #1 Doubles.  Alexis Isla also earned a victory in straight sets to round off the scoring.

The #2 Doubles team of Jozie Scott & Lindsay Brindack rallied from a 6-1 loss in the first set with a 6-2 victory in their second set.  However, the Golden Eagles team of Kelly Stryffoler & Alicia Kostolich took the final set 6-4.

The win is Louisville’s third straight over GlenOak and it now puts them ahead in the all-time series against the Golden Eagles 12-11.
