Lady Leps Escape at Central 46-40, Move to 12-0

Both the Louisville Lady Leopards (12-0) and the Central Catholic Crusaders (9-2) were ranked 11th in the state in their respective divisions, but only Louisville went home with the victory.  Louisville spread the scoring around on offense, as Mackenzie Storlie, Brianna Libertore and Alyssa Jones led the Lady Leps with 9 points each.  Molly Brown also added 8 points and Desi Givens, Storlie, and Angela Risaliti all hit three-pointers.

The Leps trailed Central 13-12 after the first quarter, but fought back to take a 20-18 lead into the half.  Louisville outscored Central by a mere point in the third quarter, before edging out a 12-9 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter.  Storlie hit five free throws in the final minute to clinch the 6-point victory.
