The Lady Leopards finished the 2006-07 campaign with a final record of 18-5.  It was an impressive follow-up to an excellent 2005-06 season, especially after losing two key players to graduation.

The Leopards defeated the Minerva Lions 50-42 to clinch the NBC Championship outright.  Amanda Jaeb scored 24 points and Jaclyn Haddad added 12 to lead the Leopards over the Lions.

The Leps played their final NBC game of the year against the Marlington Dukes, but already having the NBC Championship locked up still did not slow them down.  The Leps crushed the Dukes 65-46.  Jaeb scored 19 points, while Brittany Bartee poured in 10 points in the victory.  The Leopards finished with a 13-1 record in the NBC.

The Lady Leps fell in their final regular season game to the Jackson Polar Bears 39-37.  However, Jaeb still scored 15 points and Kelsie Harmon dropped in 11.  The Leps finished the regular season with a record of 16-4.

The Leopards then faced the Alliance Aviators in the first game of the district tournament.  The Leps scored 24 points in the first quarter and took a 37-14 lead at the half.  They cruised through the second half and won the game 63-42.  The Aviators finished the season a winless 0-21.  Jaeb scored 20 points and Diana Biller added 9 for the Leps.

The Leopards next challenge came against the Coventry Comets.  It was a tight game until Bartee scored 6 points in the final two minutes of the first half, which gave the Leps a 29-19 lead at the midway point.  Louisville outscored Coventry 29-12 the rest of the way in winning 58-31.  Jaeb led the team with 16 points, Bartee scored 10, and Biller & Haddad added 8 each.

The Leps played their final game of the season against the Minerva Lions.  Louisville won both games during the regular season, but the Lions roared with revenge to a 44-39 victory.  Louisville held a slim 28-27 lead through three quarters, but Minerva outscored the Leps 17-11 in the final period to win.

Even though Minerva spoiled the Leopards hopes of winning district, the Lady Leps have much to be proud of.  Jaeb was the named the MVP of the NBC and the Leopards also won the NBC title outright!
