Louisville 5, Ravenna 0

Five different Louisville players netted goals during a 5-0 shutout victory over host Ravenna Saturday Afternoon. The win moves the Lady Leopards to 6-0 on the season.

Louisville got on the board first when Sami Keefe booted a shot perfectly above the goalie into the top Beatty's Sports Hat Adcenter of the net. Devin Kring provided the throw in that setup the score. Rachel Baughman then broke free for a fast break goal a minute or two later to put the Lady Leps up 2-0.

The Leopards final goal of the first half was scored off of a rebound putback by Kring. Baughman delivered a beautiful lead pass to the right of the net. Lizzy Mont got a touch on the ball and kicked it off the right goal post and the ball deflected back to Kring who netted it home.

Kring also assisted the first Louisville goal of the second half that came off of the foot of Halie Barton. Mont then scored the final goal of the contest via an assist from Baughman to make it 5-0 Leopards.

Celia Keefe earned her first ever shutout in goal and Kelly Miller, Jessica Hamsher, Sarah Jaroszyk, and others provided excellent defense to keep the Ravens at bay.

With the victory, Louisville is now 1-1 all-time against Ravenna. The Lady Leopards are the first ever Louisville team to play and also win a game on blue turf.
