Louisville 214, Canton McKinley 276

The Lady Leopards pulled to an even .500 on the season with a 214-276 defeat of the Canton McKinley Bulldogs Monday afternoon at Skyland Pines Golf Course.  Michaela Lee led all Louisville scorers after shooting a 46 for the day and Katie Warga also shot a 48.  Rounding out the rest of the Lady Leopards scorers were Summer Walters (58) and Myka Russell (62).

The win pulls the Lady Leps to 2-2 on the young season and the 62-point spread is the third largest margin of victory in school history.  Here is a look at the three largest wins in Lady Leps golf history:

74 – 8/25/2010: Louisville 169, Canton McKinley 243 (Away)

68 – 9/23/2010: Louisville 180, Sandy Valley 248 (Home)

62 – 8/20/2011: Louisville 214, Canton McKinley 276 (Home)

The Bulldogs final score is also by far the most strokes a team has ever had against the Lady Leps in their three year history.  Sandy Valley’s mark of 248 listed above was the previous highest tally.
