Lady Leopards Earn 6th Straight Shutout, Now 9-0
The Louisville Lady Leopards have now shutout their last six opponents in moving to an undefeated 9-0 overall for the season. Foes falling victim to the Leopards 5-0 included West Branch, Ravenna, Salem, Canton South, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Alliance.
All three singles players are a perfect 9-0 on the season. They include Gretchen Groves, Alexis Isla, and 
Sarah Robbins. Groves is now 38-2 in her career as Louisville’s Number One Singles player. The Leopards have also received great play from the doubles teams of: Kayla Pukys & Alexis Pochubay, Jozie Scott & Natalie Richards, and Emily Robinson & Lindsay Brindack.
Louisville has remained dominate in NBC play as they have won their past 31 matches in league play and this includes 13 straight shutouts of conference foes. In fact the Lady Leopards have won their last 105 sets in league play overall and are 4-0 against the NBC this season.
Louisville has won 60 out of their last 63 dual matches overall with their only three losses coming to North Canton Hoover. The Leopards will host Marlington on Tuesday of next week before traveling to North Canton in an attempt to avenge those losses on Wednesday. They will then return to league play at home against West Branch Thursday before competing in the Louisville Doubles Classic Saturday.
