Lady Leopards Down Aviators in Straight Sets, Now 5-0 in NBC

Louisville 25-25-25, Alliance 5-16-9

Beatty's Sports Grey Louisville Athletics T-ShirtJordan Monnot had 23 points and 8 aces serving to help lead the Lady Leopards over the Alliance Aviators 25-5, 25-16, 25-9 Tuesday evening at Louisville High School.  The win is Louisville’s 13th straight over Alliance and improves them to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference.

Also leading the offense for the Lady Leopards was Brittany Lowry with 9 kills and Maddie Gramoy with 18 assists.  Monnot and Ashton Ruffing also had 6 kills each to lead the offensive charge.  Defensively, Mackenzie Begue led the team in digs with 11 and Lowry & Ruffing each had 1 solo & 1 assisted block.

September 6 Recap

Louisville 25-21-25-25, Canton South 14-25-21-14

Last Thursday the Lady Leps traveled to Charles “Red” Ash Gymnasium and downed the Canton South Wildcats 25-14, 21-25, 25-21, 25-14.  Kristen Bricker was the leading server with 17 points and 2 aces, Ashton Ruffing led the team with 8 kills, and Maddie Gramoy rounded out the offense with 22 assists.  Defensively Mackenzie Begue had a team-high 15 digs and Jordan Monnot recorded 1 solo and 2 assisted blocks.

The Lady Leopards JV Squad moved to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the NBC with a 25-12, 25-9 victory over Alliance.  Emily Hollifield had 9 kills for the match and also recorded several points from serving in the second set to put the game out of reach.
