Lacrosse Suffers First Defeat Against Jackson
Jackson 12, Louisville 7
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Lacrosse Team fell to the visiting Jackson Polar Bears 12-7 Friday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville falls to 6-1 on the year.
Jared Holland led the Leopards by recording a Hat Track & an assist. Jake Mathie also added a pair of goals & an assist and Louis Keller scored a goal & had 2 assists.
Jackson took an early 3-0 advantage, but Louisville trimmed to deficit to just 5-3 by halftime. The Polar Bears would scored the first four goals of the second half to take a six goal lead that they would never relinquish.
Austin Terra also scored a goal and both Zach Frank & Mark Soehnlen each added an assist for the Leopards.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Lake Blue Streaks on Tuesday, May 5. JV will begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow at 7:30 PM.
