Lacrosse Doubles Up Strongsville 8-4

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Lacrosse team doubled up the visiting Strongsville Mustangs 8-4 Tuesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the win, Louisville stays unbeaten with an overall record of 5-0.

Jared Holland led the Leopards with a Hat Trick’s worth of goals to go along with 4 assists. Jake Mathie & Austin Terra also scored 2 goals each and Louis Keller added another score for Louisville.

The two squads battled to a 2-2 tie at the end of the opening quarter. The Leopards shutout the Mustangs over the course of the next two periods to take a 6-2 advantage heading into the final quarter. Jarrod Moran made several key saves in goal to aide the defensive cause.

After that, Louisville and Strongsville played even with in the fourth. The Leopards consequently won their lowest scoring game of the season.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Brunswick Blue Devils on Friday, April 24. JV is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow at 7:30 PM.
