JV Football Scores in Final Minutes to Tie Marlington
Louisville 6, Marlington 6
Cole Weston completed a pass to the middle of the field and Corey White took it the distance to help the Louisville Leopards JV Squad rally for a 6-6 tie with the host Marlington Dukes Saturday Morning. With the tie, Louisville is now 3-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 against NBC opposition.
Due to the weather conditions, the game was very sloppy and each team fumbled several times. The Dukes managed to take a 6-0 lead into the break before the Leopards tied the game up with a little over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter.
The tie ends Louisville’s 22-game winning streak against Junior Varsity NBC Opponents. The Leopards last non-victory against league opposition came on October 8, 2011 in a 24-12 defeat at Carrollton.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the West Branch Warriors on Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 AM.
