The Louisville Leopards JV squad blanked the visiting Coventry Comets 30-0 Saturday Morning at Beatty's Blue and Grey JacketLouisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville improves to 5-2-1 on the season.

Corey White led the Leopards by catching three touchdown passes. He caught scores of 10 & 38 yards from Quarterback Trent Degenhard and also a 47 yard touchdown pass from Quarterback Jack Davis.

Louisville’s defense intercepted 5 passes and recovered 1 fumble during their shutout of Coventry. Michael Seaman recorded two of the picks and Order Leopard Nation Highlight VideoEthan Bellew returned another 44 yards for a pick six in the second quarter. Logan Thomas and Justin Vanover also recorded interceptions and Sean McKinney recovered a fumble forced by Davis.

Gavin VanZant also opened the scoring with a 28 yard touchdown run for the Leopards in the first quarter.

NOTE: Carrollton cancelled on Louisville for JV allowing the Leopards to stay at home and play the Comets.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Salem to take on the Quakers on Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 AM.
