Jones Receives All-State Honors
Senior Lady Leopards girls basketball star Alyssa Jones received Honorable Mention Division I All-State Honors last week by the OHSAA.
Jones led Louisville in scoring by averaging 11.8 points per game, while also grabbing the second most rebounds (6.4 per game only behind Brianna Libertore) for the 2011 NBC Champs.
OTHER MAJOR STARK COUNTY AWARDS:
Canton McKinley’s point guard, Ameryst Alston, was named Ms. Ohio and Lady Bulldogs Coach Pam Davis was also named Coach of the Year. Minerva’s Chelsie Butler was also named to the Division II All-Ohio first team.
