LHS Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2012

Stephen Bourquin – Steve is a 1983 graduate and played football and baseball at LHS. At defensive back for the Leopards he was named 2nd team All-Ohio in 1982 as well as All Stark County and All-Federal League. He received a football scholarship to Edinboro University.

Gary Dourm – He is a 1971 graduate and played football and wrestled for the Leopards. On the football field he was named Repository All County, WHBC All County and All Federal League. He earned a football scholarship to Ohio University where he was named First Team All-MAC at defensive tackle.

Charles Ehlers – A 1965 graduate, he played on football teams that had a record of 29 – 1 during his three years on the varsity and won three straight Tri-County League Championships. He was named All-Tri-County League in 1964. He was also All-League on the basketball team that won the Tri-County Championship.

Mike Katich – Also a 1965 graduate, he earned nine letters for the Leopards. His three years of varsity football produced three Tri-County League Championships with a combined 29-1 record. He played on 1965 Tri-County Champion basketball team and was a four-time track MVP going to state in 1965.

Doug Shook – He is a 1972 graduate who excelled at football and baseball. He was a First Team All-Federal League selection in both sports his senior season. He continued as a two sport star at Baldwin Wallace College where he was named First Team All-Ohio Conference in both sports.
