The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team upended the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles 18-2 Tuesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the win, Louisville improves to 2-0 on the young season.

Kloe Mercorelli and Alexa Oberster both scored 4 goals a piece to lead the Leopards. Oberster tallied 3 assists, won 13 draws, and caused 3 turnovers. Mercorelli also booked a pair of assists.

Louisville led 8-1 at the break and continued to rout GlenOak out of the locker room. They poured on 10 more goals during the second half to avenge their only regular season loss from a year ago.

Haley Black also recorded a Hat Trick and caused 2 turnovers on defense for the Leopards. Mandy Wesely and Lana Ulrich also scored twice. Both Katie Hollifield and Marissa Vick found the net as well to round out the Louisville scoring.

Hollifield finished with a team-leading 3 ground balls for Leopards. Celia Keefe also had 4 saves to earn the win in goal.

With the victory, Louisville is now 2-1 against GlenOak all-time. The Leopards fell to GlenOak 11-10 in their inaugural matchup before defeating them 8-3 in their second meeting of 2016.
