Girls Tennis Wins 6th Straight Orrville Invitational
Louisville – 12 (1st out of 4)
The Louisville Lady Leopards captured first place at the Orrville Invitational held at the College of Wooster on Saturday. Louisville edged Dover 12-11 to win the Invite for the sixth consecutive season.
Kayla Pukys was the champion of the First Singles Flight and Natalie Richards took first in the Third Singles Flight. Tory Esposito & Alexis Wendt were also the champions of the second Doubles Flight.
In addition, Jozie Scott took third place in the Second Singles Flight and Caitlin Kerzan & Alexis Pochubay placed second in the First Doubles Flight.
The host Red Riders took third and Tallmadge placed fourth.
TEAM STANDINGS: 1. Louisville 12, 2. Dover 11, 3. Orrville 7, 4. Tallmadge 0
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Central Catholic to take on the Crusaders on Monday, August 24 at 4:15 PM.
