Girls Tennis Picks Up 1st Win at GlenOak

The Louisville Lady Leopards blanked the host GlenOak Golden Eagles 5-0 Wednesday Evening. With
the win, Louisville is now 1-2 on the young season.

The Leopards won all three singles matches in straight sets. Winners included Kayla Pukys in #1 Singles, Jozie Scott in #2 Singles, and Natalie Richards in #3 Singles.

The #1 Doubles Team of Caitlin Kerzan & Alexis Pochubay also won their match 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and the #2 Doubles Team of Alexis Wendt & Tory Esposito took their match 6-2, 7-5.

Louisville has now downed GlenOak in their past 6 meetings. The Lady Leopards lead the all-time series 15-11.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete at the Orrville Invitational at the College of Wooster on Saturday, August 22 beginning at 9:30 AM.
