Louisville 4, Canton South 1

The Louisville Lady Leopards won two close matches to defeat the host Canton South Wildcats 4-1 Tuesday. With the victory, Louisville is now 6-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

Both #2 Doubles Player Sarah Robbins and the #2 Doubles Team of Lindsay Brindack and Natalie Richards won their matches in three sets to decide the team outcome. Robbins won 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 and she took the final set point 7-5. Brindack and Richards also won their match 6-3, 4-6, 7-5.

Both #1 Singles Player Gretchen Groves and #3 Singles Player Kayla Pukys continued to play strong winning their matches in straight sets.

Louisville has now defeated Canton South in nine consecutive times. The Wildcats are now 7-1 overall and 1-1 in the NBC. The Lady Leopards have now won 40 consecutive NBC Matches overall.
