Louisville 3, Canton South 2

The Louisville Lady Leopards clinched a share of the NBC with a 3-2 victory over the visiting Canton South Thursday at LHS. With the victory, Louisville improved to 8-0 in the NBC and 12-4 overall.

The Wildcats won both double matches in three sets. For the Leopards, Gretchen Groves and Kayla Pukys each won their singles matches to even the tally.

It all came down to #2 Singles and Sarah Robbins shined brightly. She dropped the first set 3-6, but rallied back to win the final two sets 6-3, 6-3 to give Louisville their 45th consecutive conference victory. The Lady Leopards have now won 10 NBC Titles and 17 League Championships in their history. With a win at Alliance Tuesday or a win against Marlington in the home finale next Thursday they will clinch their fifth consecutive Outright Conference Crown.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Alliance to take on the Aviators on Tuesday, September 23 at 4:15 PM. A win at Alliance will clinch them their 5th Consecutive Outright NBC Championship.
