Girls Tennis Edged By Crusaders, but Doubles Prevail

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Varsity Tennis Team were edged by the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 3-2 Monday. With the loss, Louisville is now 1-3 on the year.

Both Leopards Doubles Teams won their matches. Caitlin Kerzan & Alexis Pochubay rallied to win the #1 Doubles match 4-6, 6-0, 6-3. Tory Esposito & Alexis Wendt also won their #2 Doubles match 7-5, 6-4.

Central Catholic has now defeated Louisville in 6 out of their past 7 meetings dating back to 1990. However, the Lady Leopards still lead the all-time series 15-9.
