Girls Tennis Clinches Share of NBC Title at Marlington

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Tennis team shutout the host Marlington Dukes 5-0 Tuesday Evening at MHS. With the victory, Louisville improves to 12-5 overall and clinches a share of their sixth straight NBC Title with a perfect record of 8-0.
The Leopards won every match in straight sets. #2 Singles Winner Jozie Scott and #3 Singles Winner Natalie Richards both won a perfect 6-0, 6-0. #1 Singles Winner Kayla Pukys surrendered just a single set point in winning 6-0, 6-1.
The #2 Doubles Team of Tory Esposito & Alexis Wendt also won by a 6-0, 6-1 count and the #1 Doubles Team of Caitlin Kerzan & Alexis Pochubay earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
With the win, Louisville has now downed Marlington in 13 straight meetings and leads the all-time series 45-20. The Lady Leopards have now won 55 straight league matches. The 2015 NBC Title is Louisville’s 10th in team history.
