Girls Tennis Clinches 6th Straight Outright NBC Crown

Louisville 4, Marlington 1

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team earned a 4-1 win over the visiting Marlington Dukes in their home finale Wednesday. With the victory, Louisville improves to 13-5 overall and clinches the NBC Outright with a record of 9-0 in league play. The Lady Leopards have now won 6 consecutive Outright Conference Titles.

Kayla Pukys in #1 Singles and Natalie Richards in #3 Singles both led Louisville by winning a perfect 6-0, 6-0. Jozie Scott also defeated her opposition 6-1, 6-1 in #2 Singles.

The #2 Doubles Team of Tory Esposito and Alexis Wendt also won by the count of 6-3, 6-3 for the Lady Leopards.

Louisville has now beaten Marlington 14 straight times and leads the all-time series 46-20 overall.
