Girls Soccer to Play McKinley-GlenOak Winner on October 16

Louisville at GlenOak Highlights From Earlier This Year

The Louisville Lady Leopards drew the #4 Seed in the DI Austintown Girls Soccer Tournament Draw Sunday. They will host the winner of #11 Seed Canton McKinley at #8 Seed GlenOak in the Sectional Finals on Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 PM.

If favorite GlenOak wins this will setup a Sectional Semifinal Rematch between the Golden Eagles and Leopards. Louisville won the tournament contest last year 1-0 on a Golden Goal in overtime. During the regular season, the Lady Leopards won at GlenOak 6-1 back on September 20.

If Canton McKinley upsets GlenOak then the Leopards will meet with the Bulldogs for the first time since September 19, 2011. On that day Louisville won at Canton McKinley 13-0.

The winner of this game will likely travel to Jackson to take on the top-seeded Polar Bears on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:00 PM.
