Girls Soccer Outranked by Generals
Wooster 1, Louisville 0
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Soccer Team was edged by the visiting Wooster Generals 1-0 on a cold, rainy, & windy Saturday Afternoon at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville drops to 4-7-2 on the season.
Wooster scored the only goal of the game with 24:32 left in the second half.
The Leopards kept the game tight courtesy of great defensive play by Devin Kring and also goalie Allie Bourne in goal. In addition, Lindsey Bradley and Sydnee Shankel helped keep the Generals at bay all afternoon save once.
This is the first time that these two schools have played in their history. Louisville is now 1-6-1 in non-conference play this season.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Perry to take on the Panthers on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 PM.
