Girls Lacrosse Uses 3 Hat Tricks to Top Chardon 13-6

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team topped the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers 13-6 
Tuesday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville improves to 7-1 on the season.
Emily Hollifield scored 4 goals to lead the Leopards. Alexa Oberster and Marissa Vick also finished with Hat Tricks for Louisville. Liz Pugh added a pair of goals and Mandy Wesley also found the net to round out the Leopards scoring.
A big key to Louisville’s success was face-offs as they won 18 of 21 of them on the night. Oberster successfully won 16 of 19 and Wesley won 2 of 2 late in the game.
Oberster also led the team with 4 forced turnovers. Hollifield also had 3 interceptions and she turned 
all 3 into unassisted scores. Her other goal came via a pass from Vick, who had the only assist of the night.
The Lady Leopards fielded 36 groundballs led by Oberster’s team-high 8. Emily Hollifield also tallied 7 GBs and both Katie Hollifield & Vick cradled 5 groundballs each.
Louisville has now held the opposition to single digits in 7 of their 8 games. Celia Keefe finished with 5 saves to lead the Lady Leopards in goal. Louisville has now won 5 straight games.
Chardon drops to 1-2 on the season.
