Central Catholic 179, Louisville 197

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf team lost to a very good Canton Central Catholic Crusaders squad 179-197 at Tam O Shanter Golf Course Thursday. With the loss, Louisville’s four game winning streak ends as they fell to 6-4.

The Leopards struggled on the firm, fast greens which resulted in some defensive putting. As a result, the Crusaders won every matchup. Scorers for Louisville included Sierra Townsend 43, Summer Walters 49, Bailey Spring 51, and Gabby Spehar 54.

The Crusaders were led by Michele Vlacovsky who shot a match best 40. Rounding out the final tally for Central Catholic were Teresa Williams 41, Laura Vlacovsky 48, and Sydney Bruckner 50.

With the loss, the Lady Leopards are now 2-3 against the Crusaders all-time which includes an 0-2 record at Central Catholic.
