Girls Golf Falls to GlenOak in Toughest Test of Season

The Louisville Lady Leopards fell to the GlenOak Golden Eagles 167-195 Monday at Skyland Pines. With the loss, Louisville is now 6-5 on the season.

It was undoubtedly the Lady Leopards toughest test of the season. Summer Walters finished with a Beatty's Sports Yellow Long Sleeved Shirtteam low score of 46. Rounding out the scoring for Louisville were Sierra Townsend 48, Bailey Spring 50, and Gabby Spehar 51.

The Golden Eagles were led by Stacey Shalembergar who had a match low 38, Lexis Roshong 40, Kristin Radalia 44, and Danielle Roshong 45. Each of these scores were better than the Lady Leopards lowest score resulting in a big win for GlenOak.

“Best team we’ve seen all year,” Leopards Head Coach Ted Cahill said of the Golden Eagles Performance. “(Our) Kids got some good experience and a peek into where we’d like to be.”

LEOPARDS SCORES: Summer Walters 46, Sierra Townsend 48, Bailey Spring 50, Gabby Spehar 51, Abby Beaver 52, Aubrey Leone 52. TEAM TOTAL = 195

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next take on the Marlington Dukes & North Canton Hoover Vikings in a Tri-Meet on Wednesday, September 10. Tee-Time is slated for 4:00 PM at Marlington’s Tannenhauf Golf Club.
