The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team dominated the visiting Alliance Aviators from start Beatty's Louisville Leopards Pink Shirt Winter 2015to finish for a 66-20 win Saturday Afternoon at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville is now 13-1 overall and 10-0 in NBC play.

Twelve different Lady Leopards scored during the contest led by Abby Beaver’s game-high 13 points. Sarah Lairson also scored 12 points, recorded 5 steals, and dished out a game-high 4 assists. Other key contributors for Louisville included Emily Hollifield with 10 points, Grace Jackson with 8 points and a game-high 6 steals, and Sabryna Benzel who finished with a game-high 7 rebounds.

The Leopards took a commanding 17-4 lead at the end of one. Louisville then shutout Alliance for the entire duration of the second quarter to build a 35-4 halftime advantage. The Leopards continued to dominate in the second half in outscoring the Aviators in each of the final two periods.

Louisville shot 48% (28 of 58) from the field compared to Alliance who shot just 17% (6 of 35). In addition to a huge shooting advantage, the Leopards also won the battle of the boards 34-23 and produced 15 steals on defense.

The Aviators were led by Dayana Johnson who scored a team-high 7 points and had 5 rebounds. Morgan Davis Order Leopard Nation Highlight Videoalso scored 6 points & 5 rebounds and Jathlynn Mason scored 4 points and had a team-high 6 boards for Alliance.

With the victory, the Leopards have now won 15 straight meetings against the Aviators. Louisville now leads the all-time series 38-8, which includes a 17-4 record at home. The Lady Leopards have also defeated the Aviators 7 consecutive times at LHS. Louisville has won 13 straight games overall and their 13-1 start is the best since the 2010-11 Season.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Tallmadge Blue Devils on Wednesday, January 20. JV will start at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.

The JV Leopards demolished the visiting Aviators 75-14 Saturday Afternoon at LHS. With the win, Louisville is now 13-1 overall and 10-0 against the conference.

Maggie Galentine scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Leopards. Hanna Lautzenheiser also scored Order Leopard Nation Highlight Video13 and both Jenna Agnone & Alexis Beaver also dropped in 12 points a piece for Louisville.

The Leopards scored double digits in every quarter. They led 43-9 at the half and outscored the Aviators 32-5 in the second half.

Zaire Dixon scored a team-high 8 to lead Alliance. Shiann Jackson and Char Threats also added 3 each for AHS.
