Massillon Tigers at Louisville Leopards Girls Freshman Basketball Highlights 2013

Louisville 48, Massillon 21

Unlike their previous meeting, the Lady Leopards Freshman squad ran away with a 48-21 victory over visiting Massillon Wednesday evening at Louisville Elementary School.

Emily Hollifield led the Lady Leopards with 23 points, Madison Fomich added 10, and Bailey Spring recorded several assists to help Louisville improve to 10-1 on the season.

The Lady Leopards scored the first 19 points of the contest and led 32-1 before the Tigers first scored from the field at the 5:02 mark of the third quarter. Louisville just cruised to victory after that.

Earlier in the season on December 15, Louisville survived at Massillon 37-34. The improvement made this season by the Freshman Squad should boost the confidence of this class in the upcoming years. They will look to conclude the regular season on the same note when they travel to North Canton on Saturday to face the Hoover Vikings.
