The Louisville Leopards Varsity Softball Team drew the #2 Seed after the votes were counted for the DI Massillon District Softball Tournament Draw. They will 
host the winner of the #10 Canton McKinley Bulldogs at #7 GlenOak Golden Eagles matchup in the DI Sectional Finals on Wednesday, May 10 at 4:30 PM.
The new format eliminates the choice to pick any available in spot left in the bracket like in previous draws. The seeding match-ups were pre-selected so the Leopards automatically earned a bye in the Sectional Semifinals. The Perry Panthers earned the top seed overall and Louisville came in second. Jackson also took the third seed and North Canton Hoover took the fourth seed.

If GlenOak wins against Canton McKinley, it will setup a Sectional Final Rematch Between the Leopards and Golden Eagles. Morgan Harris pitched a complete game shutout in a 1-0 Louisville victory over GlenOak 
in last year’s tournament to advance to Districts in Massillon. The Golden Eagles are currently 8-7 on the season with key wins over Hudson 7-0 and Jackson 5-2. Common opponents of Louisville and GlenOak include several Federal League schools and Massillon. The Leopards hold a 4-1 record against these common foes, whereas the Golden Eagles are 3-4 against the same teams. GlenOak comes to Louisville for a regular season double header on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 11:00 AM. The two schools will likely meet just 4 days later in the Sectional Finals.
