Louisville led 48-0 midway through the third quarter before running out the clock and shutting out visiting Carrollton on October 1, 1993.

The Leopards out-gained the Warriors 425-222 in total yardage. Quarterback Ryan Crislip finished the evening 6 for 7 Beatty's Sports Grey Polo Adpassing for 127 yards and three touchdowns.  Wide Receiver Bob Burick caught 2 touchdown passes and returned a punt 67 yards for a score. Runningback Dan Wilson caught a 51 yard touchdown pass and scored on a 29 yard touchdown run. Fullback Chris Menegay also plowed in from 2 yards out.

On defense, Louisville intercepted 3 passes which included a 27 yard pick six by Ben Biery for the final score of the contest. The victory improved the Leopards to 5-0, while the Warriors fell to 0-5.
