Boys X-Country Takes 3rd at Regionals & Qualifies for State

Louisville 136 – 3rd Out of 16

The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country team took third place at the DI Youngstown Regional Meet at Boardman Saturday. Louisville finished two places ahead of Twinsburg (138) and was bested only by Boardman (94) and Chardon (117). Their top four finish marks the first time they have qualified for state since the State Championship year of 2010.

Noah Chaplik finished with the top Louisville time of 16:36.51 which earned him 18th place individually. Beatty's Sports White Polo AdxThe rest of the Leopards runners included Ben Tornow (26th), Nick Chaplik (27th), Nick Thomas (42nd), Andrew Milburn (43rd), Zach Fresenko (57th), and Sean Gronow (77th).

The Leopards will compete at the DI State Meet next Saturday, November 2 at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio where they will be seeking their second State Title.
