Boys Track Places 4th at Stark County Meet, Girls Take 10th
The Louisville Leopards Boys & Girls Track teams competed at the Stark County Championships Meet at Perry High School Saturday. The Boys finished with 48.5 total points to finish 4th out of 21 teams and the Girls finished with a score of 29.50 to take 10th out of 19 teams scored.
Boys: Louisville 48.5 (4th Out of 21)
Nick Chaplik led the Leopards by placing 1st in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:00.16. Chaplik was also part of the 4×400 Meter Relay team (Ben Tornow, Logan Skolosh, Josh Funderburk) that placed 3rd.
Other top finishers for the Louisville Boys included Kobie Shepard who took 2nd in Shot Put, Noah Chaplik who placed 3rd in the 3200 Meter Run, Terry Gooch who took 3rd in the Discus, and Ben Tornow who finished 5th in the 1600 Meter Run.
Girls: Louisville 29.5 (10th Out of 19)
The Lady Leopards were led by Devin Kring who took 2nd in the 300 Meter Hurdles. Brynn Guist (100 Meter Hurdles), Hailey Miller (400 Meter Dash), and Kayla Pukys (Long Jump) also placed 5th in their respective events as well.
