Boys Tennis Wins 25th Straight NBC Match at Canton South

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis team remained unbeaten in the NBC with a victory over the host Canton South Wildcats Tuesday evening. With the win, Louisville improves to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in conference place.

Jake Pukys, Ryan Richards, and Kyle Shepherd all won their singles matches in straight sets for the Beatty's Sports Spring 2014 - Hat LLeopards. Alex Hall & Kyle Robinson also did the same in #1 Doubles for Louisville.

With the victory, Louisville has now out-dueled Canton South in 12 of their last 14 meetings. The Leopards lead the all-time series 51-14 overall. Louisville has also won their last 25 conference matches overall and 37 out of their last 38 dual NBC matches.

The two squads will rematch at Louisville on Wednesday.

The Leopards fell to the visiting Blue Streaks 4-1 back on Friday, April 17. Jake Pukys was the lone winner for Louisville in #1 Singles as he won by the count of 6-1, 6-4.
