Boys Tennis Hands West Branch 1st Loss, Now Atop NBC

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis team defeated the previously unbeaten host West Branch Warriors 4-1 at WBHS Tuesday. With the win, Louisville improves their overall record to 3-1 and is now alone in first atop the NBC Standings at 2-0.
Jake Pukys paced the Leopards by winning #1 Singles in straight sets 6-0, 6-1. Kyle Shepherd also earned a three set victory in #3 Singles 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.
Both Louisville Doubles teams each won their matches in two sets. They included the #1 Doubles Duo of Alex Hall & Kyle Robinson winning 6-1, 6-0 and the #2 Doubles Team of Zach Eddins & Asa Herron taking their match 7-5, 6-4.
With the win, the Leopards have now defeated the Warriors in 15 straight dual matches. Louisville now leads the all-time series 54-4.
