The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team was edged by the visiting Marlington Dukes 1-0 Tuesday Beatty's Camo Hat 1 - 2015Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville is now 1-6-1 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

After a scoreless first half, the Dukes wasted no time in getting on the board out of the break. Tyler Lallie headed home a pass from Nathan Mohr to give Marlington a 1-0 advantage with 38:58 left to play in the second half.

The Leopards had several opportunities in the box and on breakaways to knot the game, however the Dukes held on to prevail by the smallest of margins. Goalie Jarrett Zwick made several key saves to keep the game close for Louisville. Travis Pape, Matt Perez, Mitch Perez, Derek Zeller, and other Leopards all made key plays on defense to stifle the high-powered Dukes.

Louisville is now 1-17-2 all-time against Marlington, which includes a 1-7-2 mark at home. The Dukes have now beaten the Leopards in 8 straight occasions.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Massillon Tigers on Thursday, September 17. Game-Time is set for 7:00 PM at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
