Boys Lacrosse Surges At Start in Scrimmage Win Vs. GlenOak

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team opened up the 2016 campaign by downing the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles 5-3 in a 20-minute scrimmage at Louisville Leopards Stadium Saturday Afternoon.
The Leopards scored the first five goals of the scrimmage, which included scoring four goals before the Golden Eagles gained a single possession.
Five different Louisville players scored in the contest. Sean McKinney and Mark Soehnlen started off the scoring with two immediate goals. Then Jared Holland froze the GlenOak Defense with a spin move to add another. Later on in the contest, Kohlten Bryan and Zack Burkhart each added goals for the Leopards.
GlenOak would tack on three goals late after Louisville subbed out the starters. The two squads will meet again in the regular season at Louisville Leopards Stadium on April 22.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next open the new season up at home against the Lake Blue Streaks on Friday, March 25 at 7:30 PM.
