Boys Golf Falls to Minerva on the Road at Edgewater
Minerva 173, Louisville 180
The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team fell to the host Minerva Lions 173-180 at Edgewater Golf Course Thursday. With the loss, Louisville falls to 2-3 overall and 2-3 in league play.
Cam Prasco shot a season low 37 to lead the Leopards. Caleb Prasco also shot a 44 and came within one of tying the Louisville record for putts in a round with 12. Rounding out the scorecard for the Leopards were Jacob Godwin who shot a 49 in his Varsity debut and Darren Hester who carded a 50.
The Lions were led by Riley Simpson, Scotty Wilson, and Connor Wright who all three shot a team best 43. Jack Hanley also came within a stroke of his teammates shooting a 44 to make the final tally. Minerva is now 5-3 overall and 4-1 in league play.
