Boys Cross Country Takes 1st at GlenOak Eagle Invitational

Boys – Louisville 74 (1st out of 25)

The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country team tied for first place with the Boardman Spartans at the Beatty's Sports Under Armour Summer 2013 Adend of the GlenOak Eagle Invitational Saturday. The Leopards would then claim first place over the Spartans via a sixth man tie-breaker.

Louisville’s Andrew Milburn took 35th overall compared to Boardman’s Nick Long who took 84th overall to break the tie. The Leopards were led by Nick Thomas who took 6th place individually with a time of 16:28.5. Also placing in the top 5 for Louisville were Noah Chaplick (11th), Nick Chaplick (14th), Sean Gronow (21st), and Ben Tornow (22nd).

This is now the third time Louisville has won the GlenOak Invitational. They also won the meet in 2007 and 2009.

Girls – Louisville 497 (18th out of 26)

The Lady Leopards finished 18th out of 26 teams at the GlenOak Invitational Saturday.

Haley Bradley finished with the top Louisville time overall of 22:06.1 good enough for 66th place. Also finishing in the top five for the Lady Leopards were Isabel Kiko (89th), Ashlee Beaver (117th), Adriana Beaver (120th), and Ashley Smith (128th).
