Boys Cross Country Stark County Champions, Girls Take 11th

Boys – Louisville 30 (1st Out of 19)

The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country Team won the Stark County Championships Meet at Beatty's Camo Hat 1 - 2015GlenOak High School Saturday. Louisville finished with 30 total places to take first place for the fifth time in 6 meets this season.

Noah Chaplik took first place individually with a time of 16:10.7 and Nick Chaplik placed second with a time of 16:12.3. The Leopards finished with 4 runners in the top 8 places. Zach Fresenko also took 6th and Noah Murray placed 8th.

Also finishing strong for Louisville were Christian Hendricks (13th), Ben Tornow (16th), and Jacob Milburn (24th). There were a total of 132 Stark Country runners competing in the race.

This is the second time in three years that the Leopards have won the Stark County Championships Meet.

Girls – Louisville 330 (11th Out of 17)

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Cross Country Team placed 11th Out of 17 teams at the Stark County Championships Meet at GlenOak Saturday.

Ashlee Beaver paced Louisville by taking 22nd place with a time of 21:42.6. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Leopards were Hailey Miller (30th), Isabel Kiko (36th), Hailey Stertzbauch (41st), and Allyssa Warren (42nd).
