Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country 2016 District Champions

Louisville – 42 (1st Out of 16)

The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country Team won their second straight DI Canton District Beatty's Blue Louisville Leopards HoodieChampionship at Malone University Saturday. Louisville finished with 42 total places to take 1st out of the 16 teams competing. The Leopards dominated finishing a whooping 50 places ahead of second place Jackson (92) and 76 places ahead of third place Lake (118).

Four Leopards placed in the top 6 individually. Zach Fresenko took second place finishing with a team best time of 15:58.65. Noah Chaplik (16:20.22) placed third, Noah Murray (16:22.22) finished just behind in fourth, and Nick Chaplik (16:40.92) took sixth.

Sebastian Hendricks rounded out the Louisville scorers with a 27th place finish. Other Leopards runners http://www.facebook.com/JenniferLBolyard/included Logan Ison (29th) and Miklos Hendricks (39th) who completed in a field of 112 participants.

The Louisville Boys Cross Country Dynasty has now won their District in 3 of the past 4 seasons. The Leopards have won 5 District Titles all-time. Louisville will compete at the DI Youngstown Regional Meet next Saturday at Boardman High School. The Boys race time is set for 12:30 PM as the Leopards will try to advance to State for the 8th time program history.
