Louisville 7, Minerva 1

Rachel Baughman and Lizzy Mont each recorded a Hat Trick as the Louisville Lady Leopards defeated the host Minerva Lions 7-1 Wednesday Evening. With the victory, Louisville is now 3-4-2 overall and 3-1 in league play.

The Lady Leopards took a 2-0 lead at the half before scoring five goals in the second half to take a 7-0 advantage. Junior Varsity players began to file into the game at the end and the final ended up being 7-2.

Jessica Hamsher scored the seventh and final goal for Louisville. Baughman, Heather Guiley, Hamsher, Mont, and Nicole Thompson each tallied assists during the contest as well.

With the victory, the Lady Leopards are now 8-1-3 against the Lady Lions all-time which includes a 3-0-3 record at Minerva.
